Resident Life

This Is What Home Feels Like

A place where your days are yours to shape

Resident life at Bay Harbor of DeForest is built around one simple belief: the person who lives here should feel at home, not managed. Meals can be enjoyed in the dining room with neighbors or brought to your room on a slower morning. Activities are there when you want them and never required. The choice is always yours.

A full life, with the support to live it.

From bingo nights and live entertainment to quiet afternoons in one of our comfortable living rooms, daily life here has a rhythm that residents come to love. Our activities team keeps the calendar fresh every month, and residents are always welcome to suggest what they want to see more of.

Picture a seat at the dining room table, a familiar face across from you, and a meal you did not have to prepare or clean up after. Picture a walk along the path outside, or a morning on the patio with the sun coming through. These are the small things that make a day feel like a good one, and they happen here every day.

One of the things we are most proud of

Keeping couples together

If you have spent a lifetime with someone, you should not have to leave them behind when your care needs change. At Bay Harbor of DeForest, we keep couples together even when their care plans look completely different. One partner may need memory care support while the other is largely independent, and both can be here, in the same building, seeing each other every day. It is a commitment we take seriously and one that has meant everything to the families who have experienced it.

Life here is warm, full, and genuinely yours. Come see what that looks like in person.

We would love to show you around.
